Pixellarator
The contest will incorporate the various branches of computer graphics design. There will be separate categories for web design, flash design, digital art (photoshop, corel etc.
Rules >>
01. This is an individual event, and a team comprises of only 1 person.
02. The participant will be given a picture in JPG format on the spot. He/she will have to enhance the picture by using any graphics tool he wishes to use (3D max, Adobe photoshop, Corel, Paint, Paint.net, Maya, etc).
03. Time allowed is 2 hours on the spot.
04. Prizes will be given on the basis of the creativity involved, the clarity of the image, and so on. There will be separate prizes for the most creative and the most humorous entries.
05. The submission has to be made in JPG format. Submission must include a text file giving a caption to the picture and also mentioning the name of the tool used for editing the image.
06. The candidate will be provided a PC with Paint. In case he/she wishes to use other software, he/she must bring his/her own laptop.
07. Use of online tools to morph/ enhance the picture is permitted.
08. The images should not contain any obscene content, or text.
09. The judge’s decision will be final.
