Sequence.Detector
The event is related to a predefined design of a circuit which can detect a particular string of bits. The circuit will be evaluated on the basis of logic and implementation cost.
Problem >>
To design and implement a digital circuit to detect the sequence 1100 or 111.
Description >>
Whenever the circuit receives the sequence 1100 or 111, only then the o/p should go high. o/p should be displayed using LED.
e.g. If input is 1110010111000 then output should be 0010100001010
Rules >>
01. Use of microcontroller/microprocessor is prohibited.
02. There should be two switches, one for accepting i/p and other for clock.
03. Clock signal to the circuit will be given manually.
04. Only 220V, 50Hz power supply will be provided. Any adapter if used should be brought by participants.
05. The performance would be judged on the following basis:
a) Logic implemented
b) Hardware used
c) Working condition
06. The decision of the judges will be final.
07. Circuit can be implemented either on PCB or BREADBOARD.
08. One team can have maximum of two members.
09. Certificates will be given to first three teams.
