This event is a programming contest in which the participants are required to write programs in C/C++ language for given problems.


Rules >>

For On-the-Spot Programming:

01. The maximum size of a team is 2.
02. The participants will be given a programming problem which they need to solve using Java, C, C++, VB, etc.
03. Each team will be provided access to a PC with Visual Studio installed on it. The participants also have the option of bringing their own laptops.
04. Sufficient time will be given for solving the problem on the spot.
05. Participant needs to submit the solution as an executable file along the source code. Entries not following this will be declared void.
06. Points will be given on: the efficiency of algorithm, the clarity of thought and ideas, quality of code.
07. The decision of the judges will be final.

For Off-Site programming:

01. The maximum size of a team is 2.
02. The entry must be a fully functional project developed on C/C++/Java on any IDE and for any platform. The submitted entry must consist of a brief detail about the project not exceeding 1 page, the source code, and the executable file (exe or jar or jad, etc.)
03. Points will be given on: the idea, originality, the efficiency of algorithm, the clarity of thought and ideas, quality of code.
04. Judge’s decision will be final.
