The remote controlled car shown is to be modified to cross the hurdles mentioned below.
In the preliminary round the participants are required to submit the modifications they propose to do. This should include complete step by step procedure they would follow to complete their design. The last date to submit the write up is 8th October 2006. Mail the entries to hanish.pec@gmail.com
The Motor, the Chassis and the distance between the tires can not be changed, but the tires can be changed and the chassis can be modified.
The car will be displayed outside Punjab Engineering College cafeteria on 5th October and 6th October from 12 PM to 2 PM.
The top few designs would be provided with the car to modify it as per their design. The participants would then compete among themselves to cross all these hurdles.
Hurdles >>
01. A series of LAUNCH PADS as shown are to be crossed which would vary in size. A total of 5 such LAUNCH PADS are to be crossed. (The car must land properly after the jump).
02. Four participants would reach the final Round. In the final round the participants have to race their cars through a damp dirt track. First one to cross the finish line would be declared as the winner.
